Description
A 14K gold-filled wheat chain. Gold-filled is a genuine step up from plating: a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base, which is why it survives daily wear for years instead of months.
The details
- 14K gold-filled, not gold plated
- Wheat chain weave, round and flexible
- Worn alone or as a base for a pendant
- Free tracked shipping, typically 8 to 14 days
- 30-day returns on unworn pieces in their original packaging
Questions people ask
What is the difference between gold-filled and gold-plated?
Gold-filled has a legally defined minimum of real gold bonded to the core, typically around 100 times thicker than plating. It is the reason gold-filled survives showers and years of wear where plating rubs through.
Will it turn my skin green?
Very unlikely. The gold layer is thick enough that skin does not contact the base metal under normal wear.
Can I shower and swim in it?
Showering is fine. Rinse after chlorine or salt water. Gold-filled is one of the few finishes at this price that tolerates that.
Is it strong enough for a heavy pendant?
Wheat chain is one of the sturdier weaves, which is why it is often chosen as a pendant chain rather than a standalone.
Shipping & returns
Every piece is made to order and ships in about 5 business days. Standard shipping to Canada and the US is free and tracked.
Pieces without personalization can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Personalized pieces and earrings are final sale. If anything arrives damaged or not as you ordered, contact us within 48 hours and we will replace it.
Care
Take it off before swimming, showering or exercise, keep it away from perfume and lotion, and store it dry. A soft cloth brings back the shine.
